Lacquered Bliss

Hello lovees!

Today I am bringing to you a new polish coming to the indie world soon. Also a polish from the same indie maker. Lacquered Bliss is the brand. She had a giveaway not too long ago when she was getting started. I happened to have won one of her mini's from her line, and she sent me one of the newer ones coming out in her line this month to show you guys!

The first one I'll show you is Toxicodendron Radicans. I just learned something new. I googled the name to see what it meant because I had no idea and apparently its poison ivy! How cool for a polish name!

Anyway, the polish it a light shimmery sea foam green with little burnt orange and chartreuse hexagon glitters in it. When I first received it, which was like 2 months ago, it went on so nicely, looked very smooth and I loved it!! When I did it the other day, it went on kinda thick and lumpy. I am not sure if it had something to do with the temperatures in my room or not, but I was sad. Its such a pretty polish though! I didn't really like the mini bottles they came in either. I was on her shop page and I wasn't sure if this is a normal bottle or what cuz it looks like there are a few types of bottles. I will find out and update you guys though!

Sorry for the crappy pics, I was swatching a lot and it was really late and I was being very sloppy.

The second polish is the one that I is coming out in her line this month. She's calling it the Grand Opening set. Right now you can pre-order the set of minis for $24 on her shop page here! Then you can pre-order the set of full size bottles for $40 here! These prices are only available during the pre-order sale.

Anyways, to the polish. This one is called Sunset On The Thames. Its a shimmery plum purple color with some very tiny red glitters in it. Its very pretty. Without a top coat, it has a gritty feel to it. It looks really nice with top coat over it too! It takes about 2 or 3 coats to cover properly. Goes on pretty smoothly. I love the red and purple together!

One coat without top coat. No flash.

Overall I like them both, the only thing I didn't like were the mini bottles. Hard to hold. Hope you guys all enjoyed my post and are staying safe and warm in these crazy winter storms hitting everywhere. Those of you who are warm in your nice snow free weather. I am jealous! lol

You can check out the rest of the polishes in Larabeth's store here.
You can visit her facebook page here.

Have a great week everyone! xoLeah
