Caribbean Coral

Hi there!

I love the color Coral. When I saw this color at the Walgreens. I didn't even think twice about it. I needed to have it. I was not disappointed when I wore it either! I also think secretly this might be my boy cats favorite color because as soon as soon as I put it on he rubbed right against my nails! Then I put the bottle down and not paying attention to what I was doing, I didn't tighten the cap all the way... I dropped it right on him when I went to go pick it up. OMG! I ran and got a towel with some soap and water and got it off, but it kind of stained.. Later I found some in his big fluffy fur so I ended up having to give him a mini hair cut!

The color is Caribbean Coral from the Wet n Wild Fergie Collection. This was part of the limited summer collection I think. It is such a gorgeous color. Very rich. For some reason when I wore this I thought the name was different and I was like 'I don't know why this isn't called Coral, it really looks Coral'. So here it is with three coats.

I know I am showing you a lot of these colors lately but they are really so gorgeous and I can't get enough of them. My Walgreens is basically out of them so if you are loving any, you might wanna get them asap!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Organizing my stash

I have been wanting to rearrange my collection of nail items for awhile, just haven't had the motivation. Last night I was sitting here thinking "man, I don't want to do my nails right now and I have to do a blog post for Tuesday!" lol So I was being lazy and just decided to do another stash post. I did a post about my stash back in January, and it has grown greatly since then. Here is the original post.

While doing this I also thought, why not finish watching the VMA's so I can delete it off my DVR.... Bad idea. I got sucked in and while watching, barely did anything.... Especially when this came on......

HOW DO THEY EXPECT ANYONE TO GET THINGS ACCOMPLISHED WHEN THEY PUT THIS ON TV????? lolol I seriously went like total fangirl when Justin Timberlake and NSYNC performed. I NEVER get fangirl about anything really.

This is what it looked like when I dumped everything out onto my coffee table. There were layers of stuff. To me, this is a small collection, maybe medium... I want a HUGE collection, not just big, HUUUUGGGGEEEEE. lol I am totally addicted to anything nails. It would be cool to go to school to be a nail tech too, but I don't think I would do it as a job, I would just do it to my friends and family and myself. lol

This is my collection that I posted back in January. I didn't really have anything tool wise, no nail stickers, gems, just basically some polish. Pathetic. lol I have won a few giveaways, gotten some as gifts, and I am in the Adopt A Friend group on Facebook, which Panacea and I have both talked about before. Thats pretty much how I got 90% of this. The rest I bought.

I have a bunch of stuff too in a whole other bag that is for giveaways and for my buddies for the adopt a friend page. It only fills a tote half way though.

I am supposed to be getting the computer desk I am currently using right now to type this as a desk for doing nail stuff in my room. Its the desk my husband uses. He is getting a really big desk from my parents, so he is going to let me use this one. I just need to get some shelves or drawers or something now, clean a corner in my room up, move some things, and get the desk for him and then I will finally have my own space to do nails!! I am so excited!!

Anyways, I don't really have a very good storage system now, but here is what I have all neat and organized now!

Still trying to decide what I want to do with the few non cruelty free polishes I have. I had gotten rid of some, but now I need to figure out if I want to keep the ones I have now or not, I can't decide. I really only paint my nails for the blog though, but I do paint other peoples nails too, so I dunno. lol

Ok, well I hope you guys enjoyed checking out my stash, have a great week! xoLeah

We can't stop..

And we won't stop..

Hi there!

So.. I am a pretty big fan of Miley Cyrus! Back in the day I used to watch Hannah Montana with my friends kids and I always thought it was a cute show! One I'd let my children watch if I had any. I like her music too. I never owned any of her cd's but I have been a fan of most of her radio hits.. I am kind of looking forward to her next cd. I will probly be buying that one!

Lately she has been getting a lot of stuff for growing up and being a little 'edgy'. I think she is a total Rock Star!!! I love her new single so hard!! It is my drive tune.

I kind of love the video she has for her new single We can't stop. It's super funky and I'd say it's kind of iffy for under 14 years old. But in the video she just seems to be having so much fun, and honestly I think it would be safe to say - she would be so fun to hang out with!!

In the video I just love her nails so hard. I wanted to a mani inspired by her nails in the video!

I use Nicole by Opi Selena Gomez - Kissed at midnight for the base. This is with three pretty thick coats.

I used Art Club black for the little bursts. I used Out the Door Northern Lights as a quick top coat and a fun holo touch! I wanted something fun but classy also. When I showed the ladies at work they really liked this!

If you haven't seen Miley's new video check it out below! ( Also vote for her for the VMA's cuz it would be cool if she won! )

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Nails by Zeke

This is Zeke in his first 3 years and 9 months of life! In the middle is one of our first picture together that I remember taking, also my favorite first picture. lol The others I was dopey because I had a c-section and I was hyperventilating the whole time. Not to mention my face was puffy from the morphine and crying in all the other pics. lol

This is Zeke today on his 4th birthday!!

Today my baby turned 4! I can't even believe it! The time has just flown by so fast, especially since I had my second son Elijah. He'll be 2 in December. Zeke was born at 11:55 am weighing in at 8lbs 14oz and he was 21 inches long.

He's got a lil attitude, but he cracks me up! He is such a funny kid, people are always laughing at him. He has some pretty great facial expressions too.

Anyways, Zeke has always been kinda interested in my nail polish and my nails when I paint them. He always tells me "oooh pretty" or "those are nice nails mama." So since I wanted to do something fun this week for his birthday, I decided I will let him paint my nails.

When I asked Zeke if he wanted to paint my nails he got SOOO excited! He ran right to my closet that I keep all my stuff in and was opening it up trying to get everything out. So he helped me pull it all out and sat down with me at the table and started picking out colors. He picked out a million colors, so I had to tell him to put some back and to only pick 4 colors. Then I let him pick a glitter to go with it. I must say, he did not too bad of a job, I honestly thought I was going to have to clean my table and have it all over my hands when he was done, but he didn't get any on anything buy himself and I and it wasn't much, just a few small smudges. He had so much fun and wanted to keep going when we were done, so I might have this be a tradition until he thinks its dumb. lol Maybe have him paint my nails for my birthday as well!

Anyhow, here are the pics:

Helping mama blow on her nails to dry them.

Really getting into it!

Concentrating so hard!

This was before he put glitter on. I cleaned up the couple smudges he got on my skin.

I even got some accent nails!

Forgot to take a pic of this hand before glitter.

The colors Zeke used were Buffy The Violet Slayer by Wet n Wild Fast Dry. A pink glitter color that I dont know the name of by Blue Cross Beauty. Lightning by Sally Hansen Insta Dri. Pool Party by China Glaze, and then the glitter is Kaleidoscope by Studio M.

Hope you guys enjoyed my post! Have a great week! xoLeah

The Baby Blues

Hi there!

I'm sorry for my disappearance last week. Life got super busy and things were just a little hectic! I had like 0 time it seemed. I have no kids but school is starting soon for me too and as crazy as it’s been getting ready for that- I can't even imagine how parents can do it! High - five to you. You deserve a glass bottle of wine. lolol. Oy.

Today I have a super pretty, blue holographic to show you! It is from the brand Above the Curve. This is the only color I have from them right now but, I recently won a giveaway that was sponsored by them! So I am pretty excited because I loved this color pretty hard. I am generally not a huge fan of the color baby blue but for some reason this one really caught my eye and the holographic is pretty amazing. Very colorful!

$1 of every bottle of nail polish they sell goes to Shriners Children's Hospital. If you would like more information on their mission check out their facebook page!! You can check out their shop here! They have lots of fun colors! They are currently $6-7 on sale right now, so it is a perfect time to try them!!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

If I still have your attention- I would like your opinion!! Generally I do an orange tag on my pictures because orange is my favorite color but I recently thought maybe it is distracting. Do you like orange, grey or black. Please let me know below!! Thank you! <3

Metallic mania

Oh my gosh, I just love metallics so much and recently have been introduced to the KleanColor metallics! Omg I love them so much!! Some of my favorite polishes. I did that post not too long ago using two of the three that I got from my swap group I am in. Last week, I won a contest from Chansi's Mani Madness and the prize was this!

I was so excited when I found out I won!!!!

It was so funny, I had used KleanColor polishes before, and while talking to Chansi, she asked if they were stinky like everyone says... I told her no, that I don't remember them being stinky. Then I did this mani... lol Before I had only used 1 color at a time, or used multiple, but not a whole lot of polish, just dots or something, so I never noticed. When I did this mani I got light headed and almost quit cuz the smell was so bad. lol I guess using 3 of them at once, you really will notice the smell. haha I mean if I would have had a fan blowing or something it probably wouldn't have been so bad, but WHEW. Once I put a top coat over it and washed my hands, it wasn't that bad.

This mani is so fun and easy to do. Just paint a single color as your base. I used Metallic Yellow. I didn't realize how bad of a job I did with 1 coat, but when the flash went off, you could really see all the spots I missed. You can't really tell in this pic though.

Then take your second color after the base dries a little and dab the end of your brush in multiple places on your nail. I used Metallic Jungle, and I made a mess. lol

Once that dries a little, do the same with a third color. Keep doing this for however many colors you want to use. I think 3 is perfect. You might have to come back with a few extra dabs of the second color over the top, depending on how well you do it. Last color I used was Metallic Pink.

Hope you guys enjoyed my post! I have a fun post planned for next week! Have a great week! xoLeah

Havasu blue

Hi there!!

I really really love the Wet n Wild Fergie collection. I don't think I can say it enough! The colors are amazing, the formulas are great and the price is perfect! If you don't have a Walgreens card I REALLY recommend that you get one. They are free and they save you a lot of money ! And they have tons of awesome deals with nail polish!

The color I want to share with you today is Havasu blue from the Fergie collection. I so love this polish. Errthing about it I love!! I showed this to you as a base for the My Polish is POPPIN ( don't forget about our code! It's good until Aug. 15th! )  and I want to show it to you by itself. Here it is with two coats. It was kind of hard to get a photo of the color in its true form, the ones without flash are pretty close. When I went to my Walgreens yesterday they had very slim pickins'. This was from her summer collection.

This color looks soooooo good by itself or with a glitter topper. I loved the way it looked on my nails and the way it made my nails look.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

My Polish Is Poppin

Ok, so Panacea already did her post about the AWESOME polish that Maria from NailNation3000 made specially for us! You can find her post here. She used blue and yellow for her base to show you, so I decided I would try it over some different colors to show you some more range. Then I thought, why don't I just pick a color for each nail and do it that way!

Panacea and I were SOOOOO excited when Maria told us she was doing this and when she finally showed us! This stuff is so awesome!! She of course named it after us, so its called My Polish Is Poppin'. It works so well with tons of colors! I did have to scrape a lil for some big glitters, but I didn't really mind because of how awesome it is! lol Not only did she make us an awesome polish, but she also made us a code to share with our fans for a discount!! How awesome!!

I used about 3 coats when I did mine because I wanted it to be really sparkly! My thumb is Metallic Green by Klean Colors, then I used Metallic Purple by Klean Colors, then Rapid Red by Sally Hansen Insta Dri, then I believe it might be Flashy Fuschia by Sally Hansen Insta Dri, then I used Ebony Hates Chris by Wet n Wild Fast Dry.

I just love how many colors it could go over, and how FUN it is!! We couldn't thank Maria enough for doing this for us! The code only lasts until August 15th for 20% off any order over $25 (before shipping) in NailNation3000's Store Envy shop. The code is POPPIN20. The polish made for us is a very limited run, so if you want to get it, make sure you get it fast! You can purchase the polish or any of her other polishes by clicking the link here.

Thanks for reading, hope you guys enjoy! Have a great week! xoLeah
