Rainbows and gold!

Another early St. Patricks Day mani! I also wanted to show you guys some of the new polishes I got before I had gotten my package from my adopt a friend buddy this month. I will be doing a post with those polishes next week hopefully. I apologize in advance if this post is weird. We got a new tablet with keyboard, so I am doing this post as a test to see if I can do a blog post from my tablet! Thats also why the MyNailPolishIsPoppin.com tag is handwritten on the pics. I dont have a good photo editing program on my tablet yet so I just used the "note" feature to write it on. Lol

Anyways... Here is a list of all the polishes used in this mani and swatch pic. On the swatch pic I used the following: Starting with the thumb is Straight A's, Cosmetic Arts Ditch Day, Sally Hansen Satin Glam Go Gold, Sugar Shimmer Work of Tart, Sugar Shimmer Gummy Grape. Then once I put more on top I used the following start with thumb: Milani Sugar Burst, Hard Candy Black Tie Optional, Milani Sugar Cane. Then the purple heart is the purple I <3 Nail Art pen, and the blue pen for the blue heart.

For my St. Patricks Day mani I wanted to use all the new I <3 Nail Art pens that I had gotten, but I didn't realize until I started it that I didnt get an orange pen. Lol So my rainbow is orangeless. So I used red, yellow, green blue, and purple for the rainbow lines. The base is the Sally Hansen Satin Glam Go Gold color I used in the swatch pic above. Then for the pot of gold I used the black nail art pen and Gold Dust Woman by My-Stash Lacquer for the gold coins in the pot. Even though it looks kinda weird without orange, I still love it. I need to get that orange one though and do another rainbow now.

All these polishes are nice and I really like them. The Sugar Shimmers surprisingly take a few coats. The Go Gold Satin Glam is a VERY opaque polish, which I love. The Cosmetic Arts Straight A's polish took a bunch of coats as well to fully cover and still it wasn't as much as I would have liked, I was just in a hurry. I still love it, its such a pretty soft pink color. The pens I am till trying to get the hang of because I have a habit of pressing too hard or not waiting till my base coat is dry and then making it look lumpy. You can see it in my middle finger the most.

I am not really sure why I love St. Patricks day, I don't have any traditions or anything and we usually dont really celebrate it in my family, but I love it. I think that maybe its because of the rainbows that people associate with it, cuz I LOVE rainbows. Or maybe its just that I have Irish in me. Lol My real dad who I have never met apparently is part Irish, but I am not sure how much. I would love to find him to find out. Do you love St. Patricks Day? Whats your favorite holiday?

Hope you guys ejoyed my post and have a great week! XoLeah

Purple Polish if Sex and Epic Snow Day

Hi there!

I hope you all are staying warm and sane with this CRAZY weather. It is so annoying. I can not even stand it anymore....

Hawaii anyone??

Today I want to share with you a color from LynBDesigns called Purple Polish of Sex. I'm sure I don't have to go into my love of purple polish again, but seriously. This purple. It is the sex. I knew I was going to love it so much I bought one for my buddy and Leah each for Christmas! I can't believe it has taken me this long to wear it!! It is a great shimmery deep purple polish. It looks like grape jelly. nom nom. It goes on super thin with one coat so you'll definitely want to wear two!

I decided to do an accent nail with one of the polishes I have won in a giveaway recently. It is called Epic Snow Day from Chaos and Crocodiles. I am so over the snow but I just LOVED the colors of the glitters in the polish. There's little light blue hearts!!! The glitters were super easy to get. I did notice later that there are Snow Men and Snow Flakes in the polish, I didn't want those on so thankfully those didn't come out super easy. I really loved the pastel glitters in this polish tho! And it looked faaaaaaantaaaaastic with Purple Polish of Sex!

Here it is with two coats and a top coat.

I just love these two together. I just love this purple polish. I will try it again with three coats and I'll post it on my Instagram!

You can check LynBDesigns out on Facebook and Etsy. She has so many amazing and creative polishes! Her polishes range from $8-10.

You can also check Chaos and Crocodiles on Facebook and their Website.  They have new monthly polishes and their polishes start at $10.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Totes Magotes!

Hi there!

Today I want to show you Totes Magotes from Dollish Polish. It is a super gorgeous teal holographic! When I saw a beautiful picture of it on instagram I was like oooooh very pretty!! When I saw the name, I just had to have it! My hubby and his friends are always saying Totes Magotes. So I knew he would appreciate the name ;).

I just love this color so much. I am a big fan of teal and I love love love holographics so this color is perfect! The holographics in this polish are very fun and noticeable in just about any light! It goes on so smooth. It's light so you'll definitely want to use two coats!

Here it is with two coats and top coat.

I really loved this polish so much! I did not want to take it off!

You can check out Dollish Polish on Facebook and Big Cartel! She has tons of fun polishes and a monthly limited edition polish! Her minis are $5 and her full size are $10-11!

Angel Wings and Leaf him at the alter

Hello lovees!

Since Valentines is over, I decided I would get a head start on some St. Patricks Day mani's and spring mani's. I just got some new polishes to start a spring mani for my next post, but today I am going to show you my first St. Patricks Day mani.

For my this mani I used China Glaze Angel Wings, which is the golden glitter. The green I used is Sephora by OPI Leaf Him At The Altar. Angel Wings I got for Christmas from Panacea! I have been wanting to use it so bad, but just didn't know what to do with it. I didn't want to use it alone because yellows and golds don't really look that great with my skin tone. Its such a pretty color though, looks much better on then it does in the bottle. Goes on very nicely and dries almost with a texture feeling to it. This is two coats.

Leaf Him At The Altar I got from Big Lots about a month or two ago. They got a bunch of the left over Sephora By OPI's and were selling them for $1.80 each!! I got this one and a bunch of glitters to use for giveaways and my adopt a friend buddies. This one also goes on very nicely. Dries with a smooth soft finish. Am I weird by saying that I like to rub dried nails on my lips when I am watching tv or something. lol Depending on how the polish feels, especially when its soft like this one I just like the way it feels on my lips. lol Ok I am weird, i'll say it. lol It has an almost metallic look to it, or maybe its a very very microscopic yellow/gold glitter in it. Hard to tell with my bad eyes. Its gorgeous though, especially in the sun! I wish I could get a good pic for you guys now, but the sun went away.

Anyways, hope you guys have a great week! xoLeah

Conversation Heart Collection

Hi there!

I hope everyone had a super wonderful and fun Valentines Day! I have always loved Valentines Day, even when I didn't have a Valentine. I just love hearts, and true love is something pretty spectacular and special! I also love going out on Valentines Day! Who doesn't love heart shaped food?!! What were your V-Day plans? Did you do your nails? We would love love love love love to see them!! You can share them here on this post in the comments if you'd like, or you can share them on our Facebook page!

Today I want to share with you the Conversation Heart collection from My-Stash Lacquer. When I saw her post these- I was in love. I just love pastels and light colors so much.... and glitter.. These were right up my ally! These are soooooo cute! I just LOVE them so much! They are super spring-ey and fun pastel so you could even wear them after Valentines Day! They dry a semi matte with fun glitter!! There are four gorgeous colors in the collection! I am going to post them in one post because I don't see them available in her store anymore :///!

When I got them it came with super cute pink mustache tissue paper and a little note that said that the glitters settle because of the matte base, a good shake mixes em' right up! I rolled each of them for less than a minute since I had just gotten them and the glitter seemed to disperse fairly. I was just so excited to try them out !

UR A QT, Kiss Me, Luv Ya, Be Mine

The first color I want to show is UR A QT. I could not believe how much I loved this one. Its got an awesome amount of shimmer glitter but with the matte base its not too much. It is such a perfect yellow.

Here it is with two coats no top coat.

Isn't it perfect? I can't get over it. I love yellow nail polish but I was so surprised It went on so perfect and it looked really so nice on me! I don't have a top coat on in the second picture, my flash made it look that way :/.

The second color is Kiss Me its a super gorgeous pastel Orange! Orange is my favorite color in life so I couldn't wait to try this one. I love this color so much and the glitter just makes it look even more fantastic!

Here it is with two coats no top coat.

Again, I am just so amazed with how nice this color applies and how nice it looks on me! As much as I love yellow and orange polishes, sometimes they just don't love me! So these are such a treat !

Next is Be Mine. I just love this soft pink so much! This is a GREAT spring/ Easter color too. It kind of looks like a speckled egg! The pink glitters add just the right touch to this beautiful color. They are subtle and not in your face.

Here it is with two coats no top coat.

This is definitely in my top 10 list of pinks I love!

The last color that I have to show you is Luv Ya! It is a super pretty pastel purple with tiny holographic glitters. Purple polish is my favorite so I really could not wait to try this color and show you! I love love love love love love love it!! I don't have a ton of pastel or even light purples so I am really happy to have this in my collection. Its so pretty.

Here it is with two coats no top coat.

I seriously loved this collection so hard. It is so pretty and fun and happy! I can't wait for spring to get here even more with these polishes! They were so nice to apply and super easy to remove, even with the glitters!

I used these for my Valentines Day mani. I had to use flash for the red writing to show up so the colors are a little darker!

Have you tried any My-Stash Lacquers? I am a huge fan! Check her out and give her a 'like' on Facebook and take a look at her Etsy page. Her polishes are super affordable - full sizes rage from $6-6.50 and she has a mini special 3 for $8 or $3 each!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy and had a wonderful Valentines Day!

Valentines Day/Anti Valentines Day

Hello lovees!

When I was doing my waterfall mani a few weeks ago, I decided that I was going to give it another try on my other hand with some different colors. I decided that I would try some Valentines colors. I used Hedy's Ma.nish.ma Nuclear Pink for the base. Its dries matte, so I thought doing a whole matte version of the waterfall nails would be cute. So for the lines I used Art Club Duo Pen Red, Art Club Duo Pen Holo Silver, Art Club White. I had originally wanted to try polka dots in Valentines colors, hence my thumb being polka dots. I decided I didn't want to do them all that way, but I was going to keep it. I used the the same base color and same silver, but for the red I used Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Red and the Sally Hansen I <3 Nail Art Pen in White. Since the lines weren't matte finishes, I decided to use My Stash Lacquers Shaken, Not Stirred for my top coat. While doing the top coat, I smudged my thumb. I just left it though cuz I was being lazy. lol

Then a few days later I decided that I wanted to do a Anti Valentines Day mani. I had tried doing Zoya Storm as a base with a red and black Hard Candy polish, but it looked terrible together. lol So instead I did this. I had taken off the first mani and did this one, so the first mani left a mess that I really didn't notice much until I was taking pics. lol So excuse the mess. haha

I got Zoya Storm for Christmas from Panacea. When I had looked at pictures of it in the past I wasn't all that fond of it, but when I tried it I fell in love! Its definitely my favorite black polish now! Such a gorgeous color! Finished the mani off with some hearts in Rock It by Orly. I just love these two colors together, I think they look so gorgeous together!

Hey Baby!

Hi there!

First, I would like to apologize so hard for being such a suck blogger lately! I started a new school semester in Jan. and was/am having a super hard time juggling school, work and real life. I think I will have to work less day because my schedule just doesn't allow for so many days right now.. Something will work its way out. It always does! I just wanted to say thank you for sticking by our page! We love you all so much!

I want to also say OMG YAY! This is our 200th post on our blog! It is really neat that we've come such a long way. It will be even more exciting when we get to like 500 or more, but 200 is super exciting for now!

Ok. How about some polish?!

I'm sure you all have seen swatches for the new OPI Gwen Stefani Collection.. When I heard that OPI was going to have a Gwen Stefani collection I was pretty friggin stoked! I love Gwen so much, she is so Classy, Stylish and Fierce. When I first SAW the press release I fell in LOVE. I just knew I was going to love them so very much!

The very first color from the collection I couldn't wait to try was Hey Baby! It is a super creamy, super gorgeous- bright, but not neon pink. Holy cow. I can not get over this color. Seriously.... You need this color in your collection! It is the perfect pink!

Here it is with two coats and a top coat!

I think this is probably my new favorite pink! I love it so much! Have you tried any of the Gwen Stefani OPI's? I have loved all the one's I've tried!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!
