Sparklegasm!

Panacea and I have talked about Nail Nation 3000 a lot, but seriously, her stuff is awesome if you haven't tried it already you can visit her store by clicking here! You can check out her fb page by clicking here!

Here is everything I used for this mani. I was in a Nail Nation mood, can you tell? hehehe I use Duri Rejuvacote as a base, Seche Vite as a top coat, some NN cuticle oil, then Silver Holo Gasm from NN, Amazeballs from NN, and then the white nail art duo pen from Art Club.

So anyways, I have had Amazeballs and used it before (previous post with Amazeballs here.) and I just love it. A month or two ago I received Silver Holo Gasm. Omg this stuff is GORGEOUS! At first when I got it, I thought it didn't look how I remembered seeing it, cuz it really is like two totally different looks in sunlight and indoor light. It looks sorta like craft glitter inside, and then outside its just absolutely gorgeous!

I took a video too just to show you guys how amazing this stuff is, you can see the pretty holo in the Amazeballs too!

Wanted to add something cute to the mani and I won some random packs of glitter from Glitter Me This about two weeks ago and finally decided I should use some! This white bleeds like a mofo though, so after sitting for a bit, the Amazeballs started to come through and make the pedals pinkish. Its ok though I suppose, at least it matches. haha

The little blue glitters I used were pretty easy, just painted one extra layer of polish on right before I applied them and used that as adhesive. The top coat holds them in place.

I tried to get a picture of them in the sunlight, but it was real gloomy here for like 2 days and then I forgot about it. lol This stuff lasted forever. I took it off after about 4 or 5 days and did a new mani and it was still in great condition, polish wise. The blue glitters fell off, but I was kinda picking at them without realizing. haha

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have a great week! xoLeah

Darcy, Havasu Blue and my polish is POPPIN

Hi there !

I got my bottle of NailNation - My polish is POPPIN last Thursday, and I've been REEEEEEEALLY wanting to use it but, I had to work and didn't have time to use it until Sunday. I kind of wanted to do a couple colors to show you all how awesome it is but I only got to do two so I figured Leah could show you a couple colors also!

Here is two coats of My polish is POPPIN over Zoya Darcy. Its from their Stunning summer cream collection. I am planning on doing a separate post about this color so I won't go into too much detail right now! ;)

Here is two coats of My polish is POPPIN over Wet n Wild Fergie Havasu Blue. Oh my goodness. What a GORGEOUS color!! I am also planning a post about this so I'll keep it short. They look SO good together!! I couldn't stop staring at it!

I really love this so much. Thank you for such an amazing opportunity and for creating such an amazing color for us!! I need to get another bottle because I def. see myself using this A LOT! Don't forget Maria also made us our own special code you can use on her storenvy if you are wanting to try this or any of her other polishes out!! The code is POPPIN20 and is good on any order over 25$ ( before shipping! )

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!!

Happy Independence Day!!

Sunday night I didn't want my kids, they were at my parents for the night. I decided I wanted to do something fun for the 4th. Lots of the stuff I wanted to try wasn't really working out that well, so I just kinda gave up and went with the flow. lol

For the base color I used Kate by Julep. This is a nice white, its hard to find good white polishes which I am sure many of you already know. I really should do a comparison with the whites that I have... Anyways, for the red, I used Devious by Sinful Shine. There is two blues used. The glittery blue is Carly by Julep. This is probably my favorite blue glitter. Love this stuff!! The second blue is more holographic, its Wow-A-Doodle by Nail Nation. Her polishes are so awesome! The glitter on my ring finger is Light It Up by Julie G. And finally, the two stars on my pointer finger on my left hand, I used stars from Hollywood Walk Of Fame by Fergie by Wet n Wild. My original plan was to use stars like that throughout the whole many, but the polish, even though it was completely dry, suddenly was taking over the stars because of the glue I put down to hold the stars. So I ended up going with the gems.

I was going to do fireworks like my thumb on my left hand for the entire mani, from the get go, but when that took so long to do, I said forget it because it was already getting late. My brush that I was using was the wrong brush and was derpin it. lol My back was hurting so I was being too lazy to get up and get my other brush. haha

I wanted to change it up on my right hand cuz I wasn't really feeling the left hand. I keep thinking of Texas now for some reason though.

I decided to do my toes too and I think they look real cute! I mean my feed look gross, but I love this fuschia with these gems. I used Metallic Fuschia by Klean Colors. I know it doesn't go with my mani, but I just can't get over how gorgeous this fuschia is!

(Don't mind my dry skin and ugly toes. lol)

For the 4th, we're probably going to go swimming with our kids, then head down to the fireworks early and have a lil bbq with some of my family. This will be Elijah's first year going, so I am excited to see how he reacts. Zeke loves the fireworks! We didn't take Elijah last year because he was only 7 months old and it was like high 90's, super humid, and just miserable out. Saginaw's fireworks keep getting better, year after year. So I am excited to see how good they are this year!

What are some family traditions that you and your family have for Independence Day?

Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday! Have a great week! xoLeah

Duri rejuvacote & Nefertiti's Crown PT. 2

Hi there :)

Sorry my posting has been sparse lately, missing my last Thursday post,  AND being late on my Monday post.  I've been ridiculously busy. I haven't even had time to paint my nails until last night!

Thanks for coming back to see how my nails are doing after 7 days with rejuvacote & how the nail polish held up!

You guys... For 9 days this polish was on my nails and never once did I want to stop looking at it! Even after all those day's I still didn't want to take it off!

I started the treatment on April 25th but didn't get to take it off until May 3rd so I continued it as a top coat until I could take it off. I showed off my nails like everyday. The ladies at my work all loved the color and were amazed how well it lasted. When I showed my one co worker, Gina, my nails on the 3rd she could not even believe it. She was like no way. I have told you before how long nailnation last's for me. Let me tell you. These two polishes together are unstoppable. If you haven't checked out NailNation, I highly recommend you do! You're missing out! Have you tried Duri Rejuvacote? If you have how did you like it ? I'd like to see your before and after photos!

Here are a couple picture's of how the nail polish held up for 9 days. 5 days of work in gloves, and 9 days cleaning the house and everyday wear and tear. You really won't believe it. You can even see where my nails grew out!! :DDDD

It was gloomy and rainy for 3 day's straight. I was really hoping to get some sun light photo's.

                                                  Pretty amazing right?

Here is a photo of my nails without polish, but with a coat of rejuvacote just because I didn't want them to be bare. I didn't file them or anything. My nails are still kind of peeley up on the top, but not as bad. I think they will continue to peel until I am done having my hands in gloves all day. I am really happy with my nails right now. They are so pretty. :D They seriously need to be filed and shaped in these photo's.

Duri rejuvacote & Nefertiti's Crown

Hi there :)

Like 2 weeks ago, Rachel in a Polish Swap group ( you should join! ) we are in posted a picture of her beautiful long nails. Both Leah and I commented how beautiful and long and just so nice they were ( Not to sound like a weirdo or anything lolol!! ) and how our nails both just are short and peel and break and just kind of suck at life... Kellie said she has been using Duri Rejuvacote and showed us a before and after. OMG I had to try this!! She said it can be found online or Wal Mart. I did some googling to find out if they are cruelty free.. They are!! :DDDD  . So I went to Wal Mart the very next day and got some to try.

I tried it like the next day after I got it. It says you can paint your nails or leave it bare. First I chose a silver holo to wear because it was something I thought I could look at for a week and wouldn't get bored with … Wrong. I was bored with it like as soon as I put it on… Not good.

I was telling hubby my predicament and he said to take it off and redo it. I said Yea, I might as well.  I doubt it will work anyways with my hands being in gloves and stuff all day. So I took him to work and came home and re painted my nails. I was talking to Leah on FB chat and as I was taking off the nail polish I could already tell that the rejuvacote was working!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I WAS SO EXCITED!! Here is what my nails looked like when I started. I started on April 25th (13). I figured since my nails were all damaged and icky, I would just file them down stubby and try and start all over again and see what it could do.

I really love this stuff . It last's and the dry finish is gorgeous. Someone in the group mentioned it looks like a gel finish! I love it!

Have you tried the Duri Rejuvacote? What did you think? I would really so love to see before and after photos!

I wanted to do kind of a neutral color but something that I thought would last, and wouldn't end up getting bored with again. I picked out a few colors but none of them made the cut... Then I noticed the color I had won from Neffy's Nail Corner from NailNation 3000! Nefertiti's Crown.

Nefertitit's Crown is a super gorgeous, brownish/gold base with tons of gem colored glitter. I know Cinderella's gown was blue but as I was putting this on I felt like Cinderella.. Maybe they should make a new Disney Princess based on this gorgeous color!

I only did one coat of the brown because I wasn't sure if two was okay with the rejuvacote. It covered really well with just one and I just love this color. Five days on and I am still loving it! While I am driving I catch it in the sunlight and I'm just like oh! So gorgeous!  I really love it. I must say I really picked a 'winner'!!

My camera really doesn't do this color all the justice it deserves, especially for the glitter!

Here is a picture taken on the 27th, after two full work days AND a whole morning of scrubbing the kitchen.

Impressive huh?? I think yes!

If you haven't checked out NailNation yet, what are you waiting for?!!?

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!
