Happy New Year!!

Hello lovelies! First I just want to wish everyone happiness, joy, and love in the new year. May good things come to you and your families! Everyone partying, please be safe and have a DD if you are drinking.

Tipsy Tow service provides a complimentary ride and vehicle tow up to seven miles from the point of pickup to drivers who have consumed alcohol on New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July. Tipsy Tow service is available to members and non-members. Ask for a Tipsy Tow by calling 1-800-400-4222.

Anyhow, here is my post for tonight! I am gonna show you Law of Attraction by Formula X for Sephora. Its their new polish that they replaced the Sephora by OPI with. My sister got this for me for Christmas and OMG I am so in love! Its such a gorgeous color and the formula is just awesome!

This is 1 coat without a top coat

This polish is so cool because it some light it looks silver and in others it looks gold. It has a purplish/blue chunky glitter in it too. The base is also a sparkly glittery combination. The bottle is cool, reminds me of Butter London how it has the brush handle cover. The only downside to this polish is the brush sucks. Its real skinny and has a stubby handle. I hate that. However, it doesn't affect my decision to buy more of this brand. The one thing that will stop me is if they tell me its NOT cruelty free. Which I will be really sad about. I couldn't find any info about it online. I figured since its new nobody has really asked about it yet. However I am going to message them and find out, but I didn't want to wait to share it cuz its so pretty. I just assumed since their previous polish line WAS cruelty free that this one probably is too. I can hope. lol

The glitter in this goes on evenly, no digging! WOOT WOOT!! I thought it was a perfect color for New Years cuz of the silvery goldness to it! haha plus anything sparkly works good for new years!! haha

Sorry for the picture quality, my phone was being a jerk. lol

Ok, well I hope everyone enjoyed my short post! Have a great new year and great week! xoLeah

Delaunay & Happy Holidaze

Hi there!!

I hope everyone had a super wonderful Merry Christmas! Hope that you got lots of love and smiles. And of course I hope Santa was good to you and yours! My Holiday weeks have been swamped. I have barely had time to paint my nails or sit down and write blog posts. So sorry for my lack of posting! I am definitely ready for the New Year and the Holidays to be OVER!

Did you have any fun nails for Christmas? I would love to see them! You can post them on our page if you would like!

I didn't have a lot of time but I did want to paint my nails some fun Holiday colors so I chose Delaunay from Julep. This was one of the first colors that I ever had from Julep! I never tried it until the other day. What was I waiting for?!?!?! OMG ! I love this red so much. I love red nail polish almost as much as purple! I can't believe that I waited this long. Its so bright and creamy. Such a dream to apply. Here it is with two coats.

I used a Holiday glitter topper from My-Stash Lacquers. This was so sparkley! I had a hard time capturing all the sparkle! This was a fun topper and very quick, easy, fun and festive! I wish I would have had a little more time but I was really pleased with this!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

I seen this on Facebook not too long ago and I love it because this is exactly how I feel about the whole situation with people being offended about people saying a certain greeting. Its just rude. You don't have to celebrate it, just respect that they celebrate something different and let them great you how they great people for their holiday. You wouldn't be offended if someone from another country told you hi in their language would you? Anyways, thats just how I feel. So happy holidays to everyone no matter what you celebrate!

I really wanted to do a lot of Christmas mani's this year, but I have absolutely no Christmas spirit. My kids have been rotten. Even now being Christmas Eve they're screaming at each other and fighting over everything. Its mostly my oldest, he antagonizes his brother and gets him going. My youngest is such a good boy when his brother is at school, he's a different person when he comes home.

I have really been depressing on my last few posts, I am sorry...

Ok, so here are my Christmas nails. I did two different ones. One on each hand. So the right hand is messy haha. I used mostly all Milani for both manis. Here is the first one:

I smudged the thumb a little, so please ignore that. lol

For that mani I used Nabi White underneath all the glitters. For the middle finger glitter I used NOPI Heavenly Angel. Then here are the Milani colors I used from thumb to pinky: Silver (glitter), Ruby Jewels, Green Glow, Gold (glitter). Green Glow was a very transparent polish. I had to put like 5 or 6 coats on. Its a very pretty color though. I should probably throw out this nabi white polish too cuz its so thick and goopy, its gross. Yet I keep using it for manis because I know right where its at instead of searching for my other whites. lol

For my next mani I used Milani Ruby Jewels, Nabi White, and NOPI Heavenly Angel.

Please ignore my dry skin. This was right after I got out of the shower and the shower dries me out!

I really love using Ruby Jewels for Christmas manis because its sparkly and red. I used it last year I believe too for my Christmas mani. Heavenly Angel is just so pretty and looks like sparkling snow flakes, I love it! I think this is the first time I've used that polish.

Hope you guys enjoyed my post and have a great Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate!! Tonight my family and I are going to my parents to do our annual Christmas party. Everyone be safe! Merry Christmas! xoLeah

Merry Christmas from my family and I!

Payton

Hi there!

Are you all ready for the Holidays? I am. Most of my Christmas shopping is done. I have a few packages to get out still. Poor time management on my part but that's ok! I think they will be worth the wait! The traffic and weather and everything has just been so ridiculous and crazy! I'm so ready for life to settle down and go back to normal...

The weather has been super crappy here. I am really hating it. It's really like end of the world creepy weather! Its been cold and rainy and icy and freeze rain and snowing and windy! Its nuts. I am so over it. I really needed to paint my nails and I really needed something that was gonna be pretty and lift my spirits! I was looking through my colors and Payton really caught my eye!

It is such a gorgeous deep purple scatter holographic!!  It is such a nice shade of purple and the holo really just adds so much pizazz to it. I really enjoyed this color and it made me feel much better!

Here it is with two coats and a topcoat.

Check out that sparkle. Isn't it intense? It was so fun to look at! Such a beauty! Have you tried any of the Zenith collection colors? What color(s) are you wanting the most?

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Ugly Christmas Sweater

Hi there!

Do you own any ugly Christmas sweaters? I don't :(. Maybe when my brother and I were younger when we used to take family pictures. But they weren't really sweaters, more like ugly sweat shirts lolol.

I was really hoping to be able to take advantage of some of the black Friday/ cyber Monday specials but I had a few unexpected car issues and could only make a couple purchases that I was already planning on buying as Christmas presents. Stupid car!

One of the orders I placed was through My-Stash Lacquers -- she was having a little thing if you were one of the first 10 people to place an order she would include three mini colors from her Holiday collection. I didn't even know that until like a day before my order arrived and I was like oh I really hope I was one of the first 10 because I really love the Christmas ones!

When I opened my package and saw them I was REALLY excited!!! So excited that I got the Ugly Christmas Sweater mini too because that was one I was wanting to buy for myself anyways! I just couldn't wait to wear it!

It's a very fun, super festive holiday glitter topper. With tons of different shapes of red, green, white and black glitters. It coats really well with only one coat and I didn't have to fish at all for glitters there's a huge variety on the brush as soon as you pull it out!

Here it is with two coats over a variety of Christmas colors & alone. The colors I used are Wet n Wild Fergie Graphite Greetings, China Glaze, Zoya Gia and butter LONDON Cotton Buds.

I just love it so very much! Have you tried any My-Stash Lacquers yet? If not you can find her on Facebook and Etsy. Her full size bottles are 6$  and her mini's are 3 for $8 so its a great chance and price to try out a few polishes and not spend a ton of money!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

I am a terrible blogger

I really need to make a designated time to sit down and actually do more for our blog. I totally forgot to do a post last week and didn't even realize till like 2 days later. All day today I was thinking it was Monday, so I have been putting it off. Here I am at 11:17pm and I finally realize it is in fact Tuesday and I have yet to do a post. I feel so terrible because Panacea has been doing so many posts and being such an awesome blogger and then here is me with my measly one post a week and I can't even do that right. I don't want to use this as an excuse and I don't want any sympathy or anything so I won't explain much further than this... I am having medical issues and its making me even lazier than before. I really hate it. We have so many loyal and supportive followers, so I want to try harder to be a better blogger for you guys! Maybe I can make that a new years resolution, because honestly, thats something more realistic for me. So anyways, here is my post. Its going to be a long one, and I am also going to share my vox box goodies that I received in this post too!

Ugh... then of course as I sit here uploading pics from my phone and editing them and starting to type this out my son keeps waking up with nightmares. So now I have to push it off again.

Today (Wednesday now) was a long day...... Didn't get much sleep last night cuz of Zeke and his nightmares. I put him in my bed so he wouldn't wake up his brother which resulted in me not getting much sleep either. I was gonna let him stay home from school since he didnt sleep well but he yelled at me and told me he wanted to go. lol He loves school!

Anyways, here finally is my post! Yay! I am going to show you a mani I did for Christmas and review a polish as normal, but I am also sharing my Violet Vox Box in this post! Here is a pic of everything I received!

Ok first I am going to show you the polish I got in the box. Its from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine collection. First one I have, but after using it, I went and got another one. I love this stuff! The one they sent me is Statemint. Its a lime green color. The shine on this stuff is amazing, you don't need a top coat, but I put some on it to compare for one pic. It has a cap on it like Butter London where you take off the cover to reveal the brush handle. The brush on it is a wide brush like the brushes in the Insta-Dri line from Sally Hanson. I really like the wide brushes. Goes on so smooth and is a 1 coat polish, but I did two. I decided to do a Christmas mani over it too when I was finished taking pics of it.

The two pics above are with a top coat. Look at that shine!

This is with Seche Vite over top. So shiny!

The crappy Christmas mani I did over top of it. lol

Next I wanna show you is the Not Your Mothers Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo.

This stuff is amazing! I tried a Treseme dry shampoo before and I didn't like it because it was a spritz type and it left a weird feeling in my hair. Clean Freak works really well, its a powdery spray and it feels weird on your hair at first, but after you brush it through your hair the feeling goes away. Really helps with oily hair. My hair gets so oily fast, so I love that I have this now. Especially when I wake up in the mornings to run my son to school. I just spray it in and go!

My hair needs to be dyed so please ignore that haha but here is a pic of it after I sprayed it in my hair. This was a day that I had really dirty hair, and it was a huge improvement!

Next I am gonna show you the Goody Athletique Reversible Quick Dry Ouchless Headwrap.

I really liked this because it stayed in my hair. Most of them slide off my head because I have a weird shaped head. Its soft, and I like that its reversible too! My son wanted to try it out too and he loved it!

Next thing I want to show you is probably my favorite thing in the whole box, minus the nail polish. This is a Glacial Clay Spa face mask from Montagne Jeunesse.

Its a cloth mask that is covered in whichever type of mask you buy. So this one is the Glacial Clay mask. Here is the description from their website. "Give your skin the ride of its life and feel the natural rush of cooling Glacial Clay cleanse your pores to the core. Anti-oxidant rich Red Grape and Arctic Cloudberry juices from the glacial heights of Scandinavia work their magic to help maintain skins natural barrier.""

This stuff feels AMAAAAAZING! Even if it didn't do anything to my skin, I just loved the way it felt on my face while I waited. lol But it did make my skin feel so good after and shrunk my pores. I looked super creepy wearing the mask though. I even posted a few funny videos on Instagram when wearing it. You just pull it out of the package and apply it to your face which is pretty easy since it has eye, nose, and mouth cutouts. Then you wear it for 10-15 minutes. I think I wore mine for 20 cuz I didn't want to take it off. haha Then after you take it off, you massage it into your face and rinse.

Here is a creepy pic of me wearing it. lol You can also go HERE to watch the video if you want. Any another one HERE. That second video was actually meant to be an informative video for it, but I messed up the audio, then recorded my reaction as I first seen myself wearing it and it freaked me out! haha I looked like a serial killer! haha

I went out and bought another one to try, I got the Dead Sea Mud Spa mask and I am super excited to try it!

Lastly I am going to share with you guys the SoyJoy Dark Chocolate Cherry snack bar.

This was probably my least favorite thing in the box. I liked that it was gluten free and had real fruit and all that, and it didn't taste too bad, but it left a weird after taste. I am also not that fond of real cherries. I like cherry flavored candies, but not actual cherries. lol I know I'm weird. Anyway, I took two bites to taste it, and since I didn't care that much for it I saved it and gave it to my 4 year old. He LOVED it. He ate it so fast and asked for another one! So I love that I found something healthy for him to snack on!

A few days after getting my Violet Vox Box I also received the Braun Box which was just a Braun Forehead Thermometer. Its a nice design, soft tip that slides across the forehead easily. Comes with a cap to cover the tip when not in use too. It is really easy to use, simple directions too. As far as accuracy goes, I think it might be slightly off. I don't have another thermometer to compare, but it kept giving weird numbers.

You can see the video I posted on Instagram of it in action HERE!

Hope you guys enjoyed my post and have a great week! xo Leah

Dance of the Sugar-Plums

Hi there!

I have another Polish Yer Hooves polish to show you today! The color is Dance of the Sugar-Plums. I honestly have no idea what a sugar plum or a sugar plum fairy is or what they have to do with Christmas.... There is always Sugar-Plum something at Christmas time lolol. I do know what a plum is. But those are summer fruits.

Ok, Onto the polish!

Dance of the Sugar-Plums is a purple polish with hints of blue undertone and a subtle holograhic. It was very light but it was still super gorgeous. I went with three coats for this one to make sure it was opaque enough. I love purple polishes and I really loved this color! I was thinking about adding one of the glitter toppers to it, but I decided against it. When I first applied it there were kind of like little glitter chunks in it. I removed it and shook it a little more and tried again and it was still a little bumpy but it didn't bother me. A coat of topcoat and it wasn't really bumpy anymore! I tried so many different angles, and lighting and even outside pictures and I could not get a super great picture of the holo. :'(.

Here it is with three coats and a topcoat.

I loved this color. My friend Hogan kept asking me when I was going to wear it because she really couldn't wait to see it. She sqeed with excitement when she saw it. It really is so pretty! A really nice color to look at.

You can check out Polish Yer Hooves on her Facebook and Etsy!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!
