I was home, doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen when the ball dropped. My daughter was at her boyfriends and hubby was asleep.
ReplyDeletei didn't make a resolution. i was at home, relaxing and enjoying time with my husband and my kids. we even let them stay up for the new year :) we don't have cable, so we couldn't see the ball drop.. but really, i think it's getting over-rated. ;)

ReplyDeleteFor the first time in my life I went out to hear my husband play for a party.Not only that but it was only the 2nd time in 24 yrs of marriage that we were together on NYE.He plays music and whatever band he is with at the time;usually have a NYE gig.So I pushed myself to go;and my big daydream of kissing him at 12 popped as the band played on and on .Heck 2 drunks told me HNY before he did.....hahahahahaha
Right brain/left brain huh? No resolutions;just gonna live my life as it comes day by day; do my nails and save my pennies to buy new polish from time to time.
I do hope you girls had better NYE's. Looking forward to great things in 14 !!!
I was sick for New Years so I rang it in while sitting on the couch blowing my nose. My resolution was to purge and organize my make-up stash... And keep it that way. I posted it on my blog. ;)

ReplyDeleteFor New Years, I had a great dinner with friends and then we went to our favorite bar. :) My goal this year is to loose some weight to get ready for starting a family. ;) I'm am glad the holidays are over!
