Leaf Fairies

I am not really a fan of fall... When I think of fall I think of wet leaves and it being gloomy. It just seems like its always wet and gloomy in fall and I don't like that! HOWEVER, I do love fall colors and bonfires and the smell of burning leaves. So I mean there are a few things about fall I like.

My new friend Rebecca from Flutterby Lacquer was my buddy for September for the group Panacea and I are in, Adopt A Friend. We have both mentioned it before. You get paired up and send letters and nail goodies to your pal each month. Its quite fun! Anyhow, she just got started making her own nail polish line and so as part of my package for September, she sent me two of the polishes that she made! I was super excited cuz I am always down for some indies. Indies are the best! The two she sent me are Leaf Fairies and November Hollow. I think the names are perfect for the polishes, they fit perfectly.

Leaf Fairies is a glitter top coat and its GORGEOUS!! Its now one of my top 5 favorite glitters for sure! The one she sent me though had a really strong nail polish smell to it. So since she's my friend on fb and she's so nice, I wanted to talk to her about it. She apologized over and over and immediately ordered new base! I was like woah! I just wanted to know why it was stinky. hehe I thought it was so awesome of her though to care so much about what I thought. She said she didn't want others to be turned away because of the strong smell, I totally agree. I still love it enough though that I don't care and am still going to continue to use it! haha Thats how pretty this is, foreal. So yea, she is getting a brand new base so it shouldn't stink anymore, YAY! I had a hard time getting a good picture of how truly awesome this glitter is, there were purples, reds, golds, copper, silver. Different size glitters. Just a big bottle of awesome glitterness! It went on very nicely too, no digging around for glitters! I love when glitter is like that!

The November Hollow is a nice copper color with some holo glitters. Its not too much, just a hint and its so pretty!! Perfect fall color. In the pics it kinda has a pink look to it, but it doesn't look pink on. It goes on very nicely, two coats was perfect. This stuff lasts forever too! I had it on with Seche Vite top coat and after about 4 days it was still in great shape. I am a picker though and started to pick at it. lol
