Lemon Lolly

Hi there! Happy Monday!

Did you know how BAD I wanted the yellow Nicole by OPI gumdrop?! I tried to set up swaps and asked in just about every polish group I am in. I even took to twitter. Nothing... I couldn't get it anywhere. I was pretty much sure I would never own it. waaa.

One day last month I had to drop Hubby off early at work because I worked earlier than him.  Later that night he texts me and says. ' You're gonna love me so much forever ' I texted back ' I already do' lolol so corny. He texted me ' I got you something but I kinda want to make you wait till you pick me up to see it.'  Omg. ALL NIGHT?! REALLY?!?! I am not good at waiting. At all. I'm like THE single most impatient person you'll ever meet in life. But I waited.

He gets in the car and shows me what he found me. Nicoly by OPI yellow gumdrop. Lemon Lolly. Are you serious right now? I was NOT expecting that at all.. Not even like 1%!! I was so flippin excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was finally mines! Wooooo! I am SO LUCKY!!!

He found it at Target. He said it was on the gumdrops end cap but there was only one and there was not a spot for it, it was just sitting on the display. 

Let me share this pretty with you. Here it is with two coats. In my personal opinion I think the gumdrop textures are a little more textured feeling with just one coat than the more.

I am so happy that this was everything I was expecting. I really loved this!

Candy is Dandy

Hi there!

I am a sucker for candy. I love it. I prefer hard candy but I'm not really super picky lolol. Candy is candy!! Candy is dandy. ;)

As you know, I am a super huge fan of all the textured polishes! I want to own them ALL!!! I have not really been able to find the NOPI Gumdrops anywhere around me. Its super frustrating! Actually I lie. I saw them once at a Wal Mart like a month and a half ago but I had 0 money and never saw them again! :'( . When my buddy told me she found them and got me one I was sooo excited !!!!!!!! I couldn't wait to try it. I pretty much did as soon as I opened the package!!

Check it out!! This is Candy is Dandy by Nicole by OPI from the gumdrops collection. I can tell I am going to love all these colors!! It is super sparkley, almost holographic! It is so gorgeous. Here it is with two coats, no top coat.

There is a color that is limited to a few stores only in Canada. The yellow one! If we have any fans here that live in Canada and can find me the Lemon Lolly I would so pay you for it or maybe we can set up a swap! I really really really want it so hard!! WAWA!!

Hi there :)

I love LOVE love love love wawa (Watermelon). Yum. I could eat it forever. Seriously, at work, I eat it out of the fruit salad all day. It is like the best wawa I have had in a LONG time! Wanna know something weird though?! Every time I eat wawa it gives me super WEIRD dreams!
 
Anyways lolol

I am so loving this texture nail polish craze! At first I didn't know how I felt about it, and I won’t wear it if I am going to work because it does weird things in my gloves and it creeps me out. But I seriously love it!!! It’s so fun to play with and It isn’t really even that hard to remove!!

 I was wanting to do something fun and summery and I was like OH! Wawa!! With pixies!!!! So I grabbed all my pixies and picked some colors and got to painting.

I used Julie G Gumdrops Hot Cinnamon for the wawa flesh, Zoya Vespa for the rind and Zoya Dahlia for the seeds.

Summer Fun!

As you know our page right now is having a Summer themed nail art contest! We are so excited to see everyone's ideas! You can check our facebook page here for all of the details!

Here is a picture of my mani I did for inspiration!

 On my thumb I did a little beach. I used Wet n Wild Fergie Cabo Cruise for the sky, Zoya Pixie Dust Solange for the sun, Julep Sea Salt Jill for the sand and Julie G gumdrops Blueberry Fizz for the water. On my pointer I tried to  do a beach ball. It turned out ok but I think it looks funny. I used L.A. Colors Energy Source for the base, Zoya Pixie dust Solange for the middle part, Julie G gumdrops Hot Cinnamon, Blueberry Fizz, and Tangerine Dream for the color parts around the beach ball. On my middle finger I used Wet n Wild Fergalicious and put some cute nail art stickers on. I got them at Wal Mart for like $1.98. They are like little girls stickers but they are so cute!! I really couldn't pass them up! I love them! On my ring and my pinkie nails I used Julep Sea Salt Jill for the sand. On my ring finger I used Wet n Wild Fergie Purple Polka-dot Bikini for the flip flops and Wet n Wild Fergie Miami Spirit for the flip flop straps.

I really had SO much fun doing this mani. It didn't even really take a lot of time either which is awesome. I hope you all will enter our contest! The more the merrier!
