Duri rejuvacote & Nefertiti's Crown PT. 2

Hi there :)

Sorry my posting has been sparse lately, missing my last Thursday post,  AND being late on my Monday post.  I've been ridiculously busy. I haven't even had time to paint my nails until last night!

Thanks for coming back to see how my nails are doing after 7 days with rejuvacote & how the nail polish held up!

You guys... For 9 days this polish was on my nails and never once did I want to stop looking at it! Even after all those day's I still didn't want to take it off!

I started the treatment on April 25th but didn't get to take it off until May 3rd so I continued it as a top coat until I could take it off. I showed off my nails like everyday. The ladies at my work all loved the color and were amazed how well it lasted. When I showed my one co worker, Gina, my nails on the 3rd she could not even believe it. She was like no way. I have told you before how long nailnation last's for me. Let me tell you. These two polishes together are unstoppable. If you haven't checked out NailNation, I highly recommend you do! You're missing out! Have you tried Duri Rejuvacote? If you have how did you like it ? I'd like to see your before and after photos!

Here are a couple picture's of how the nail polish held up for 9 days. 5 days of work in gloves, and 9 days cleaning the house and everyday wear and tear. You really won't believe it. You can even see where my nails grew out!! :DDDD

It was gloomy and rainy for 3 day's straight. I was really hoping to get some sun light photo's.

                                                  Pretty amazing right?

Here is a photo of my nails without polish, but with a coat of rejuvacote just because I didn't want them to be bare. I didn't file them or anything. My nails are still kind of peeley up on the top, but not as bad. I think they will continue to peel until I am done having my hands in gloves all day. I am really happy with my nails right now. They are so pretty. :D They seriously need to be filed and shaped in these photo's.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Duri rejuvacote & Nefertiti's Crown

Hi there :)

Like 2 weeks ago, Rachel in a Polish Swap group ( you should join! ) we are in posted a picture of her beautiful long nails. Both Leah and I commented how beautiful and long and just so nice they were ( Not to sound like a weirdo or anything lolol!! ) and how our nails both just are short and peel and break and just kind of suck at life... Kellie said she has been using Duri Rejuvacote and showed us a before and after. OMG I had to try this!! She said it can be found online or Wal Mart. I did some googling to find out if they are cruelty free.. They are!! :DDDD  . So I went to Wal Mart the very next day and got some to try.

I tried it like the next day after I got it. It says you can paint your nails or leave it bare. First I chose a silver holo to wear because it was something I thought I could look at for a week and wouldn't get bored with … Wrong. I was bored with it like as soon as I put it on… Not good.

I was telling hubby my predicament and he said to take it off and redo it. I said Yea, I might as well.  I doubt it will work anyways with my hands being in gloves and stuff all day. So I took him to work and came home and re painted my nails. I was talking to Leah on FB chat and as I was taking off the nail polish I could already tell that the rejuvacote was working!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I WAS SO EXCITED!! Here is what my nails looked like when I started. I started on April 25th (13). I figured since my nails were all damaged and icky, I would just file them down stubby and try and start all over again and see what it could do.

I really love this stuff . It last's and the dry finish is gorgeous. Someone in the group mentioned it looks like a gel finish! I love it!

Have you tried the Duri Rejuvacote? What did you think? I would really so love to see before and after photos!

I wanted to do kind of a neutral color but something that I thought would last, and wouldn't end up getting bored with again. I picked out a few colors but none of them made the cut... Then I noticed the color I had won from Neffy's Nail Corner from NailNation 3000! Nefertiti's Crown.

Nefertitit's Crown is a super gorgeous, brownish/gold base with tons of gem colored glitter. I know Cinderella's gown was blue but as I was putting this on I felt like Cinderella.. Maybe they should make a new Disney Princess based on this gorgeous color!

I only did one coat of the brown because I wasn't sure if two was okay with the rejuvacote. It covered really well with just one and I just love this color. Five days on and I am still loving it! While I am driving I catch it in the sunlight and I'm just like oh! So gorgeous!  I really love it. I must say I really picked a 'winner'!!

My camera really doesn't do this color all the justice it deserves, especially for the glitter!

Here is a picture taken on the 27th, after two full work days AND a whole morning of scrubbing the kitchen.

Impressive huh?? I think yes!

If you haven't checked out NailNation yet, what are you waiting for?!!?

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Amazeballs!

Hey guys, I just feel so terrible. I dunno what my problem is, but I just can't seem to get motivation lately for blogging. I have barely been doing my nails either. I guess I know part of the problem, but doing my nails used to make that better. Maybe I have just gotten to a point where nothing can make it better? I dunno, but I don't want to bring anyone down with my problems, just trying to kinda let you guys know why I haven't been active much lately. I feel like a real a-hole for it too. I am so sorry, I am going to try harder this week! I hope you guys can forgive me!

SO ANYWAYS.................

So on my birthday, I was sitting at my computer, looking at different indie polish facebook pages and I ended up stopping at Nail Nation's page. If you haven't already been there to see her stuff, check it out! Amazing!

While looking I just kept thinking how much I wanted some of her polishes, and at the time I didn't have the money to buy any. I don't have a lot of indie polishes and I have been really wanting to try some Nail Nation polishes. Since it was my birthday I thought, maybe I will buy some if I get money for my birthday. I left her a comment telling her how much I loved her polishes and how awesome they were. I have the owners personal page on my friends list so she knew it was my birthday and she told me to pick one out as a gift! She sent me lots of goodies too! It was very exciting! Totally made my day!

Thats one of the nice things about getting to know all the lovely ladies in the nail polish community! Lots of generous ladies out there!

Here is the mani I decided to do with the polishes she sent me!!

Look at that shine!! Gorgeous! This is the one I picked out for my birthday. It's called Amazeballs! I just love that name too.

Decided to use this gorgeous blue with it that she sent! Love it! The blue is called Wow-a-doodle. Wow indeed!

Next I used my new dotting tools that I got and some new nail art white that I got for my birthday from a new friend. So many NEW things!! lol The white is by Kiss.

I hope that you guys enjoyed this post, have a great week!! xoLeah

Secret Agent #007

Hi there :)

I'm not a bond fan, except for the Nintendo 64 Golden Eye game. That game was so fun. My brother and I would run around and shoot each other for hours. I've never seen any of the movies though.

Last month I won a giveaway from Neffy's Nail Corner ( shes currently doing another giveaway! ) and it included a special polish made special for the giveaway ( which will be in a different post ) and a few others. I was so excited to try them all but this one just kept calling my name to try it first!

The polish is an indie brand NailNation. This is my first time using the brand but it definitely will not be my last! I seriously LOVE this polish. The color is Secret Agent #007. It's a black base holographic. The holographic in this polish is incredible. I loved the application. It stayed on forever. Like I normally say about polish only lasting a day in my gloves. I wore this polish 3 days straight at work and cleaned around the house and kinda picked at it and it stayed very well for 4 days. I even remembered to take a picture to show!

Isn't it gorgeous. I'm in love. I couldn't stop looking at it!

I used the Julep Freedom Top Coat with the Julep matte top coat on my middle finger. I didn't really like the matte top coat but I didn't hate it.

I only used the top coat on one hand, my left hand because I wanted to test it. To me when I wore it the first time it was good but I read a lot of kind of crappy reviews on it so I really wanted to see if it was the top coat or the polish.

Here you can see the left hand is way worst than the right. That was disappointing. Have you used the Julep Freedom Top Coat? What do you think about it?

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed!
