It's dangerous to go alone, take this!

Long time no see! haha Ok, so I know I mentioned that I was back to blogging since my lil break from it, but Panacea and I have decided that we are probably not going to blog as much anymore due to the fact that not enough people actually read our blog. We will still be sharing pics with you guys on Instagram and our FB page, but for now, we're not really going to be blogging.

So for todays post, I want to show you guys The Legend Of Zelda collection from a brand that we've shown you before and LOVE. Marbles For Polish! She has some really great polishes!

I have never really been a fan of Legend of Zelda, but my husband is obsessed. He was excited to see that I had some polishes themed after his favorite video game from his childhood. The colors are called Trinity, Wisdom, Power, and Courage. All great names to represent the game from what I have heard about it. These are linear holos and they're GORGEOUS! The formula is great, they dry quickly with seche vite top coat. They have been holding up pretty well with the gloves I wear at work and have lasted pretty well with all the dishes I do at work. The polishes all look best with two coats, but if applied right could probably go with just one coat.

Power is a gorgeous black polish. I paired it with some white caviar and wore it to my 10 year class reunion! I got a few compliments on it, even though the caviar I used kinda sucked and I screwed it up. haha Heres with two coats, the caviar, and seche vite top coat.

Next is Trinity, a GORGEOUS gold polish. Usually golds, yellows, etc don't look very good on me, but I just loved this one so much so I didn't care if it did or not. I wore it for Halloween with my costume. I was Cleopatra for our Halloween party. Its such a pretty shade of gold. Here it is with seche vite top coat.

Heres a bonus pic of me in my costume, also my husband as a last minute Olaf. lol

Here is Wisdom, a beautiful lavendar color. I LOVE this color. This and Trinity are probably my faves from the collection. Here it is with seche vite top coat.

Lately we have courage, a beautiful green polish. Usually I am not that fond of greens on my nails either, but I really liked this too! I still have it on and its been on for 3 days of dishes and gloves at work. The formula is amazing. When I had all the colors on my nails I had it on for awhile too before it got too bad. Here it is with seche vite top coat.

Mermaid Summer

Hi there!

Really quick I want to wish you all a safe Friday the 13th. It is a FULL MOON too. PLEASE make sure your animals are inside, and take of your outside ones as well. Make sure there are no weirdos. I am totally superstitious so I am totally freaked out this Friday the 13th! Have you also heard about the Mercury Retrograde? The Universe is really crazy right now!

Anywho..

Today I want to show you another color from Marbles for Polish. This color is called Mermaid Summer. I was really super excited to show you guys this color because I love love love mermaids, summer, and swimming! When I was a young girl I used to always pretend to be a mermaid when I was in the pool. I believe that mermaids are real, and mostly wish that I was a mermaid in RL. lolol.

Mermaid Summer is so gorgeous and perfect for summer. It is a teal base polish with a bit of holographic shimmer  to it. I couldn't stop looking at it! It applied so smooth and evenly.  It is great with two coats and shimmers so beautifully!

Here it is with two coats no top coat.

This would be a great base for some mermaid tail nail art, or even those really pretty teal base with copper/gold sponges. I think I am going to try that next time I go out! I will post my results on Instagram when I do. If you don't follow me already, here is the link! Sometimes I post polishes on there that I don't blog about!

You can check out Marbles for Polish on Facebook and Etsy. She also has a special vacation sale code right until the end of the month. 15% off your purchase of $15. She also offers free shipping on orders over $60!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

The Scientist

Hello there!

Happy Monday! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I honestly really never had a problem with Mondays. But Thursdays...  Thursdays are not my day.

Anywho.

Today I have another color from Marbles for Polish called The Scientist. This is a Hulk inspired nail polish, so of course I had to have this one! The Scientist is a super dark green jelly base polish with lime green and purple glitters. It is so cool! In the note she sent me with the polishes she said that it may stain, and with the luck I have with green polishes, so I added two coats of base coat... I wore this color for a few days, and it did not stain my nails! Green polish ALWAYS stains my nails! I am not saying it wont stain yours, so I definitely recommend a base coat if you are wearing this.

This polish applied very nice, and smooth, even coats. And the glitters were abundant. There was no fishing for these, and they disperse so nice. It goes on kind of light and thin with just one coat, but two coats is just perfect.

Here it is with two coats and no top coat.

Gluttony

Hi there!

Today I want to show you a polish from a new to me brand, Marbles for Polish. Leah did a review of her polishes a few months back. I haven't had a lot of extra money to purchase ANY nail polish, so when it was my groups turn to review for her, I was super excited!

The first color I want to show you Gluttony, from her 7 Deadly Sins collection. Gluttony is a gorgeous metallic orange polish with gorgeous orange glitters that almost look red. They go perfect together!  When it dries it looks like it could almost have a texture to it, but it is not, it is smooth!

This polish applies nice and even. It is just so very gorgeous!

Marbles for Polish

So recently I was introduced to a new indie brand. She just started making her polish a few months ago, but only started selling last month. You can check out her store HERE and her facebook page HERE.

I received her package a few days ago and immediately painted my nails. The colors were so pretty that I couldn't resist! Today I am going to show you Sloth and Anger from her 7 Deadly Sins collection which comes out March 28th. Also she sent me Dianthus which has already been released.

Since I tried them all at once, the only one that I could really tell how long is lasted was the Dianthus. It was the last one I tested out and definitely my favorite!! LOVE pink and chromes, so it was definitely my fave of the three. I never do dishes, the hubby does them, so usually I can't test out polishes that way haha, but I had to wash a few things when I was wearing Dianthus and it only slightly chipped off my pointer finger. Then it lasted through a bunch of stuff for the last few days. I've had it on for about 4 days and there is only minor chipping on the tips.

All three were pretty good formula wise. I am not sure if it was something I did, or something with the polish, but I did have a few little bubbles. They all went on very nicely with two coats and were pretty opaque.

Anger is a shimmery red orange color. It has tiny specks of gold glitter in it giving it the shimmer. I think its a great representation of Anger.

Sloth was an awesome robins egg blue shade. Has a slight shimmer to it as well, but kinda hard to see in certain light. My eyes have been acting weird the last few days and when taking pics I didnt realize how blurry some were till I had removed the polish and went to edit them. So I didn't get as many good ones for Sloth as I'd have liked.

They all applied nicely, Sloth was a lil thick, but not too bad. They all dried pretty quickly too, which was awesome. The brushes and bottles were great too. I've tried these before with other brands and I like them. They all were pretty easy to remove as well!

Loved all these polishes, can't wait to see what else she comes up with! Thanks Shannon for giving me the chance to review your polishes! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and hope you all get a chance to check out her polishes too! Have a great week! xoLeah

PS. I just wanted to share with you guys something awesome that happened this past weekend. Panacea and I as most of you know, live in different states. We don't get to see each other very often, and the last time we had seen each other was almost 3 years ago. A mutual friend of ours was going to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland which is a Christmas store about 20 minutes from me that is open all year long. Well when Amanda was in town, we were supposed to meet up so that she could bring me the afghan that Panacea crocheted for me. When I went to meet up with Amanda, I had been turned around to talk to my friend Ariel who went with me to get the blanket and when I turned around Panacea was standing there with Amanda to deliver it to me! It was the best surprise ever. I was having a terrible day and that totally made it so much better. I had surprised her the last time I visited her, so I thought it was cute that she got me back! lol
Here is the video of her surprising me!
