Melissa

Hi there!

I was looking through my polish collection and I just couldn't decide what color I wanted to do. I looked forever. Finally I looked at my Juleps and I was like hmm... I haven't done a Julep in FOR EV ER so I closed my eyes and picked a color lolol. I chose Melissa!

At first I was really hesitant... I really really didn't think that I was going to like this color. At all.. I was so wrong. It is so very gorgeous! It would be really nice for a wedding, even if you aren't getting married. Also for a job interview! Very elegant!

Here it is with 2 coats!

I've been using a ridge filler and it really makes a huge difference! I am really glad I decided to try it. Without the ridge filler it doesn't look so great.

I really loved this color. I'm glad I decided to give it a try!

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Educate

Hi there!

Back in the day hubby and I used to be total stoner's. We still smoke but it's mostly just recreational anymore rather than an all day errday thing. I am a pretty big Legalization advocate and I think everyone should try it! I think if more people did smoke the world would be so much more friendly.

Anywho.

A few months ago my Adopt a friend told me she would rather shop off wish lists and that was really hard for me! For one I didn't have one ( I have since made one! ) and I just like the surprise you know!  .. Well the next day I signed onto facebook and happened to see Mentality released a 420 Holographic set!!!!!!! Holy shit! I instantly messaged my buddy and showed her and asked for that, it was the only thing I for sure wanted! I couldn't even believe I got them!!

I've been so excited to try them since I received them! I can't believe I waited this long!! I will be wearing the others very soon!

Educate is a brownish/dark red tint polish with a hint of green in some light. Here it is with 2 coats no top coat.

I loved this color so very much. It looked great on my nails, it was so gorgeous and the holographic is insane!

You can find Mentality on Facebook and Big Cartel! Their polishes run about $7 each and I am pretty sure it's always free shipping to the US!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Sparklegasm!

Panacea and I have talked about Nail Nation 3000 a lot, but seriously, her stuff is awesome if you haven't tried it already you can visit her store by clicking here! You can check out her fb page by clicking here!

Here is everything I used for this mani. I was in a Nail Nation mood, can you tell? hehehe I use Duri Rejuvacote as a base, Seche Vite as a top coat, some NN cuticle oil, then Silver Holo Gasm from NN, Amazeballs from NN, and then the white nail art duo pen from Art Club.

So anyways, I have had Amazeballs and used it before (previous post with Amazeballs here.) and I just love it. A month or two ago I received Silver Holo Gasm. Omg this stuff is GORGEOUS! At first when I got it, I thought it didn't look how I remembered seeing it, cuz it really is like two totally different looks in sunlight and indoor light. It looks sorta like craft glitter inside, and then outside its just absolutely gorgeous!

I took a video too just to show you guys how amazing this stuff is, you can see the pretty holo in the Amazeballs too!

Wanted to add something cute to the mani and I won some random packs of glitter from Glitter Me This about two weeks ago and finally decided I should use some! This white bleeds like a mofo though, so after sitting for a bit, the Amazeballs started to come through and make the pedals pinkish. Its ok though I suppose, at least it matches. haha

The little blue glitters I used were pretty easy, just painted one extra layer of polish on right before I applied them and used that as adhesive. The top coat holds them in place.

I tried to get a picture of them in the sunlight, but it was real gloomy here for like 2 days and then I forgot about it. lol This stuff lasted forever. I took it off after about 4 or 5 days and did a new mani and it was still in great condition, polish wise. The blue glitters fell off, but I was kinda picking at them without realizing. haha

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have a great week! xoLeah

Fatigue Glam

Hi there!

I am a super huge fan of texture polish!! I love it so much! When I heard Wet n Wild had texture polish, omg. I almost peed with excitement! I love wet n wild polish so much. It's my favorite drug store brand and the quality is amazing as well as the price!

I was at the local Jewel doing some grocery shopping and always I have to stop and look at all the nail polish and I noticed the Wet n Wild display with w 30% off sticker and I was like hmm... Then I noticed they were texture and I was like ok. Loaded them all in the cart! I got these at my local Jewel but I've seen them at Walgreen and Meijer! I am really loving the colors! Can't wait to swatch the rest!
Check out Fatigue Glam. Its a really pretty mauve. Here it is with 2 coats, no top coat.

Have you tried the Wet n Wild texture polishes? I've only tried this one so far but I loved it! If you've been on the fence about trying texture polishes, and not wanting to spend $9+, this is a great chance to give them a shot at a really good price! I think they were $3.99 each (plus 30% off).

Thank you for reading! I hope you enojy!

Lolita's Gown

Hi there!

I want to show you one more really pretty purple polish from Gothic Gala Lacquer called Lolita's Gown! Its a really pretty, super sheer purple with black and white glitters.

This color is a really beautiful color. I am a huge fan of purple nail polish! I wasn't 100% sure what a lolita is so I googled a picture. Then googled images of a lolita's gown and oh my. Some of them, they are so gorgeous!!

To me the name and the polish go hand in hand. The name is spot on for something that comes to mind just when I think of lolita's gown before I even googled it.

On to the polish!

The first coat of this polish is super thin. I didn't think to take a picture ( I'm sorry! ) of it but you can see a picture on her etsy page.

You definitely would want two, maybe even three coats. Here it is with two coats.

I really liked the sheer to this polish but I really was not a huge fan on the glitter. You know that I love glitter so that was really hard for me to cope with!! It wasn't bad but, I had a really super hard time getting any glitter at all on the brush and the stars I really really had to fish for. Here it is with three coats no top coat!

And here is three coats with one coat of top coat!

You can find Gothic Gala Lacquers on Facebook and Etsy. Her polish run about $9 a piece.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy!

Velvet & Caviar

Ok, so for awhile now I have had some of these Nail Rock London 3D nail art manicure sets. I was hesitating using them because I thought they were going to be super messy. At first when I tried them, they were a lil messy, but it was because I didn't really know what I was doing. Since I am offering some nail caviar in our giveaway, I thought I would show you guys some! You can check out this months giveaway by clicking here!

Each box contains 1 rock nail polish and 1 pot of whatever nail art product you bought. In this case I got the nail caviar and a nail velvet. For the nail velvet, I got it in the shade of burgundy. For the caviar, I got it in the shade of gold & multi.

Nail Velvet: Start with a base coat, then paint two coats of the rock polish that comes in the box. Before it dries dip your finger into the velvet pot and apply evenly. When you pull it out, dust off the excess velvet. Allow 15-20 minutes to dry and you're done! A tip that I would recommend is putting tape or something around your finger so it doesn't make a mess. lol I had it all over my thumb as you can see in these pics.

Nail Caviar: Stare with a base coat, then paint two coats of the rock polish that comes in the box. Before it dries dip your finger into the caviar pot and apply evenly. Once you pull out your finger, press firmly on the caviar to level it out and make sure it all sticks and covers. Allow 15-20 to dry and you're ready to go! The caviar is staticy and it they stick to everything, so this can be kinda messy as well if you don't take your time and go slowly.

Then I just decided to paint the rest of my nails with the two rock polishes that come with the caviar and velvet. This manicure was so fun, I got a few compliments on it and I couldn't stop playing with the velvet, it was so soft and cool! I had a few people ask me to do it for them too, but I haven't yet or else I would share pics of those too. lol After doing one hand, the second one was much easier because I knew what I was doing. lol

The only bad thing with this manicure is the caviar didn't last very long. After a few hours it was already falling off. I had it all in my bed and stuff the next morning. I don't know if there are any tricks to making it stay on longer, so if anyone knows any, please share! I wonder even if maybe a top coat would work? Or maybe would it just look weird? I dunno... Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have a great week! xoLeah
